can't get 97 chevrolet blazer out of park when it is cold

Hi Danny... are you parked on a grade...are you pushing brake pedal hard enough to release the lock. if you are check that you have enough power at the lock release when you push on the pedal. check to see if the lock release is wore out...if so replace it.... hope this helps
