Chevrolet Repair: brake, rear brake drums, hub area

Can not remove rear brake drums Chavy cavalier 2004.
Please any advise.Thanks

the drum probably has a large rust ring on it...spray the lugs and center hub area with penetrating oil (wd 40) and beat the drums flat surface inward with a hammer, dont hit ur lug studs!!!!!!!!!.  I kno it seems like u r hitting it the wrong direction, but they usually pop loose this way.  If this does not work you will have to find a slot located on the backing plate and use a couple screwdrivers to loosen a self adjuster inside there.  good luck.  dont be afraid to hit the drum!
