Chevrolet Repair: chevy ignition, lock cylinder, colum

my ignition is stuck on. i cant get it to turn off. any suggestions.

Hi Regina.... The actual switch is mounted on the colum, the key part just moves a rod that goes down to the switch. either the switch is jammed or the key is not allowing the tumblers to turn the lock back. if you remove the switch and the key will retun then the switch is the problem. if not it's the lock cylinder....hope this helps
