Chevrolet Repair: 7.4L V8 lifters, lifters, crankcase

I have a 1999 GMC 3500HD 7.4L V8. The lifters recently started making noise, loud ticking. What would you recommend rebuilding? Thanks

Hi Tom, If your oil pressure is good ,the first thing i would is run a crankcase cleaner in the oil. Follow the instructions on the can.

   If they still make noise then you need to replace the lifters.
