Chevrolet Repair: 2003 alavlanche, ticking clock, c mode

I have notice a clicking noise under the driver side dash. It just started lately, it sounds like a ticking clock. it will tick for a while and then quit. it been doing this for about 2 weeks.

Hi James, This sounds like the heater a/c mode door. There might be a new program that needs to be installed in the control module for the HVAC system. I know the 2004 model year has this and the bulletin is #  06-01-38-003. The dealer will need to install this if it is needed.
