WHEN I TAKE MY KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION THE INSIDE LIGHTS, RADIO, AND ELECTRIC WINDOWS STAY ON/STILL WORK, WE ASKED A REPAIR MAN HE SAID EVERYTHING THAT NEEDED TO BE FIX WAS IN THE DASHBOARD OF THE TAHOE, SO I'M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT PART DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT FIXING IN THE DASHBOARD. PLEASE EMAIL ME BACK ASAP. THANKS ANDREA

Many cars today have this happen for a short time until you open the door, or the time period times out.  Is this the case?  If so, that is normal.  

If this is supposed to happen but doesn't time out, or stop when the door opens, then there is possibly a component under the dash that regulates that.  

If you are sure this is not supposed to happen, then I would suspect the ignition switch.
