Chevrolet Repair: 1999 astro van, coolant temp, vacuum lines
Questionthe van will not start when is damp or wet out. I used starting fluid and it will run until all the starting fluid is gone. The fuel pump is running strong, replaced the filters and battery and still having the same problem.
AnswerHI Jim,
Well naturally I say wires right off. But if the fluid will run but not fuel, then I have to consider the possibility of something else.
MAP sensor or Barrometric Pressure is possible. Look for broken vacuum lines here. Coolant temp sensor possible, but not probable. How about ACT air charge temp sensor?
Pull some codes. If none, then try the wires and plugs first.
