Chevrolet Repair: 1984 Chevy Carb, vacuum leak, firing order

I have this truck, and have had the carb done and the cap and rotor button. Now it has a really bad miss and when you try to give it the gas it kinda pops, or maybe a light backfire. Wondering what might be the solution.

Hi Trevor, This is a hard question to answer because work has been done to the engine. First I would check the wires on the cap to make sure the firing order is correct. If this is ok then there must be a problem in the carb or a large vacuum leak. You also want to check the ignition timing to make sure it is set right.
