Chevrolet Repair: Seat Cover and Armrest, chevy 1500, spring washer

I have a 1994 2wd Chevy 1500 with bucket seats.  i just bought seat covers for it, but i have to remove the armrest to get them off.  i pulled back the padding, but there weren't any screws or bolts.  i then tried to flatten the spring washer, but i don't think that is what is holding it on.  could you help me.  it would really help with a diagram or picture as well.  thanks, Ian

If I remember right the fabric on the back of the seat should unzip. You should then be able to get through the padding and see a nut for the armrest. Just loosen the nut and it should come off. As far as diagram or picture I can't help you there, your just going to have to look. There is a nut somewhere in there it's just going to be hard to find. Good hunting.
