Chevrolet Repair: CHEVY PROBLEMS!!!!, fuel mileage, man in need

hi i have a 1990 scottsdale 1500 seies pickup with a 305...now what happened the truck wouldnt start no fuel no spark so they changed the rotor and cap.but now i seem to have problems with power trying to get over 90...and im going about 60 km and it costing me 20 bucks is this normal...my check engine light comes on and goes off...umm can u plz help me man...in need!

Hi Ryan, The first thing I would do is have the code checked,this could lead you in the right area to repair. The only other thing that comes to mind is the cat-con in the exhaust. If this gets plugged you will have very little power and low fuel mileage.
