Chevrolet Repair: 2002 S10 clutch adjustment, clutch adjustment, clutch plate

Hello john, the clutch on my 02 S10 grabs real high making it seem as if the clutch is thinning out. Is there a way too possibly adjust this clutch?

Hello Curtis......This system is self adjusting.....The pedal will get higher as the clutch plate wears down. The ''fingers on the ''pressure plate will come in closer contact to the ''throw-out'' bearing giving you the higher pedal...If you have any considerable mileage on the clutch ..consider a replacement!...Oh yes,..Don't use a reconditioned assembly..Stick with new!..Best
