Chevrolet Repair: 1992 Chevy Suburban 1500 4x4, chevy suburban, power surges

Hello, My gauges on the instrument panel seem to get power surges, they tend to bounce around intermintently, fuel gauge goes from full to half then empty, you get the idea. the tach bounces around, same with oil and amp gauge. Any ideas?

Hello Dan,
Up above the parking brake lever there is a ground bar. Make sure all the connections are tight, and make sure the wire that grounds the bar has a clean tight connection.

make sure the ground wire from the engine to the firewall is clean and tight.

If neither of those correct it, the connector plug to the back of the instrument cluster may be loose.
