Chevrolet Repair: oil filter location, chevy cavalier, drive shaft

I have a Chevy Cavalier 2003.  Went and bought the oil filter and oil and no where can we find the filter location in the car......even looked in the manual and it doesn't say where its located so we can do the oil and filter change.  Thanks for any help

Its not in an easy location, look under the car on the passengers side up near where the drive shaft is , you may be able to see it looking through the passenger side wheel well also, but that is where it is located. however it also depends on what engine you have, check this link and see if this helps
