QuestionHello Van .
I own a used 1996 Chevy S-10 Blazer 4x4
4.3 LS model
It is a nice truck.
Only prblem is I am having trouble with the speakers on the right side.
I changed the head unit thinking the Delco stereo was the problem. Same thing is happening.
If one of the speakers is blown , will that cause that entire side not to work?
All the original wiring is in the truck and uncut.
I used a harness adapter for the new radio unit and followed all the wiring diagram in my truck manual.
(all is correct)
Sorry so long winded I am at a loss.
Also how do I go about finding out if there is a short in the wiring? Very appreciative Patrick : )
AnswerHello Patrick,
I am no audio expert.
But I would probably go back to the wires, and connect the right side speaker wire to the left side output, just to see if the speakers work.
I believe if one is shorted, it would kill the signal to the others, but I don't know that it would just limit it to one side.
