Chevrolet Repair: leaking in car, chevy impala, problem water

i have a chevy impala 2004. there is water setting in my H-vac and when i turn it spill onto the passenger side floor. I am sure there is an obstruction somewhere(leaves etc) I looked at the cowl screen and it is finely meshed and can't figue out how they would have gotten there. Can u please help me figure out how to solve this problem.water only occurs after a rain

Hi Terry, You need to clean out the drain for this. It is located on the right side of the engine on the firewall. Look below the alternator for a rubber 90 degree nipple that comes off the firewall. Pull this nipple off the firewall and clean it. This will repair your water problem.
