mark,i want to change the thermostat on my 2000 lumina(car) it is a 3.1 loaded.it looks like a real bear.any tips?thank's,mark

Hello Mark, It's not as bad as it looks. Remove the throttle body first. Now you can get to the bolts for the thermostat. The lower bolt you will need to use a small wrench, most of the time it will spin out by hand after you loosen it.
