Chevrolet Repair: Power Windows, pwr windows, master switch

Question
I have a 1997 1500 Suburban w/pwr windows.  My problem just recently started is that the windows may be working fine and just out of the blue they will stop working for different lengths of time.  I have checked the fuse for the windows and it is in great condition.  The problem may occur at different times under different weather conditions ie wet, dry.  Please let me know where I can begin to figure out this problem.

Hi Blake, There are two places to look for your problem. One is the master switch, Try pushing back and forth on switches to get windows to work. The other is the wiring where it goes from the drivers door to the truck body. Cut open the boot and check the wires for opens, they will just break inside the boot and then sometimes touch and the window will work for a minute.
