can someone change my shift points on a automatic transmission mine shift to overdrive at 37 mph.I had it rebuilt 9 month's ago the place that done it said they was nothing he could do.

At what speed did it originally engage the overdrive ?. Be HONEST.

What was replaced on/in the transmission ?.

You can change it by replacing:


1. the speed sensor.

2. The magnetic pickup on the output shaft in the transmission/transfer case.

3. Different calibration chip in the vehicles computer.

4. Some transmissions have pressure switches that can be replaced with a HIGHER fluid engagement pressure.
