Chevrolet Repair: 1994 Cavalier rough idling, vacuum leaks, head gasket

I sure hope ypu can resolve this  prblem. My daughters car, Cavalier, Head head gasket,wires, ignition coils,timing chain,cyl. head checked,timing checked by mechanic. The mechanic charged my 1100.00 and still idle terrible.Runs above idle very good, just idle. ANy suggetsions? HELP! thanks Kevin Savadge

Hi Kevin, The one thing you need to do is make sure that there isn't any vacuum leaks. This would also include the pcv valve, could be stuck open. If all is ok there make sure that your engine mounts are ok. Sometimes a mount will ground out and cause a vibration in the car making it feel like it's running rough.
