Chevrolet Repair: Winshield Whiper, wiper arm, control arm

Question
Only one of my whipers doesn't work now. But the motor is still operating, it just doesnt move the whiper.

Answer
You most likely knocked off the linkage from the main control arm that goes to the non-working wiper. Pull the motor back OFF and disconnect the wiper arm on the back of the motor and manipulate the wiper arm by hand and look to see where the other arm came loose from the main control arm.
