Chevrolet Repair: Cehvy Blazer/wiper problem, chevy blazer, computer module

I have a 98 Chevy Blazer 4wd.  The wipers stop working here and there.  Sometimes they start back up within minutes, other times not.  I heard it might be a computer module of some kind but am not sure if that's the problem.  Is this something that my husband could install himself or do I need to take it somewhere?

Hi Sue, Yes there is a wiper module that needs to be replaced. Yes your husband should beable to do this job. He will need a #20 torx screwdriver to remove and install the module. Module is a dealer item and cost around 60-70 dollars.
