Chevrolet Repair: Water Pump, radiator hose, bottom mark

I'm going to order a water pump.It states that there is no threaded outlet.Could you tell me what that means.So I'll know whether or not I can order this paticular pump.I have a 1993 k1500 ext. cab,with a 5.7L.                                                         Thanks

Hi Stephen, This would be a place for a hose nipple to screw into. If you don't have a small hose going to your pump then you don't need one with a threaded outlet. This hose will come out on the top of the pump. The radiator hose connects at the bottom.
