Chevrolet Repair: engine replacement, salvage yard, mid size

Question
I have a 4x4 1995 blazer (mid size)  Would the engine from a 99 s-10 fit in my truck with out alot of changes?  If not what type of changes?  Is there any problem with an engine from a 2WD going to a 4x4 transmission?

That kind of swap is outside what I do, so I really can't answer that. However, a salvage yard of any size would have a parts interchange book that would say exactly what engines are interchangable. They will tell you.
I would think it would fit right in, but not sure.
