Chrysler Repair: 1999 300 - Powered Seat, dc power source, cave project
QuestionI have a rather unique situation. I am building a racecar simulator for my home use. (it's a Man cave project!) :-) I have a leather, powered driver's side seat from a 1999 Chrysler 300. I'm trying to find information on the pinout connections for the wire harness connector on the seat. I would like to be able to mount that seat and connect it to a 12v DC power source in the hopes of being able to make the seat adjustable in the "cockpit". If I were somehow able to make the heated seat function work also, that would be an awesome bonus! Can you possibly share what the pinout connections are or share with me a location I might be able to find them? I don't want to ruin the seats functionality by trying various connections randomly. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
AnswerHi Brent,
I have the '98 manual that has the wiring diagrams and the plug pin assignment for the memory/heated seat system. There are four plugs for the module that controls it, and a control switch as well. I assume you have the module and the control switch, correct?
I can xerox copy and mail you 10 pages that shows it all. It would cost me about $1.64 to do that and you could send me four 44-cent stamps after you receive them. Let me know if you want me to do that copying and mailing, and tell me a postal mailing address.

PS Sorry for the dealy in responding but I just found your question in the 'pool' to which Kevin had referred it.
