Chrysler Repair: 05 Town and Country: delayed start from cold, 4 digit numbers, diagnostic capability

We have an 05 t&C with a 3.8L that, after sitting for a while (4 hours-longer) will take longer to start versus wehn it is just shut off.  Turns over fast, it just has to crank longer than normal, about 3 seconds.  It feels like it is not getting fuel right away and'or loosing some kind of prime.

Hi Mike,
Try the self-diagnostic capability using the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see if the mileage reading changes to show any 4-digit numbers preceded by a P. Let me know what they are and we'll go from there.
