Chrysler Repair: 07 pt cruiser: transmission code 0750, solenoid pack, private option
Questioni am getting two codes. P700 and P750. it runs good and then does not switch out of first gear. i have replaced the transmission controle module four times and after every time i change it, it will work for about ten minutes and then go back to the same problem.
AnswerHi Michael,
That 0750 code means there is a problem with the low/reverse solenoid circuit. It could either be the wiring or the solenoid itself. Chances are it it the solenoid and you would need to replace the solenoid/pressure switch pack if that were the case. However it would be worthwhile to check out the wiring and the manual shows how to do that. If you need to change out the solenoid pack I can share the info about how to do that. But start with the wiring verification. There are about 4 pages that I can copy and attach to an email. To do so, I need to know your email address. To do that use the follow-up question but select the 'private' option, then tell me your address in the text. Although you do tell Allexperts what is your email, the 'expert' is not shown it routinely so that is why you have to give it to me.
The 0700 just verifies that there is a specific fault code stored in the transmission.
