QuestionQUESTION: I was replacing my valve covers due to cracks as wells
changed out my ecm which came up as an error for my check
engine light. After changing everything I started the car
and it quickly died. I found that the egr hoses were not
flush and air was leaking. So I corrected all air leaks but
when I tried to start the car nothing happened. All dash
lights worked. I troubleshooted the issue and found the
starter stopped working. I got another starter. The car
still won't start. I hear a tick by the pcm but I don't see
any fuses blown and I tested all the relays on the pcm. I
am officially stumped. any suggestions?

QUESTION: I didnt change the pcm. I changed out the ecm because the
readout from autozone said ecm failure when I brought it
there to find out what why check engine light was coming on.
What grey key are you asking about?
I did get my ecm out of the junkyard from a car that was
wrecked but I may try another if I have to.
AnswerThe correct term is PCM on a Chrysler. The gray key that u use to start the car up or is it black. Did they not tell u what the codes were from autozone Did u match up the PCM u got with the one that cam out of the orginal car. If thy are not the same part number they won't work. Also if the one that u took it out from had an alarm. It also won't start up in yours
