Chrysler Repair: 00-dodge neon 2.0, torque converter clutch, torque converter clutch solenoid

QUESTION: I have a major problem,everytime i put the car in drive the fuse blows but not in reverse,the check eng lt stays on even after i clear computer with a p0743.I even disconect all wiring to the trans.what can i do?

ANSWER: P0743-TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID/TRANS RELAY CIRCUITS
replace the converter in the tranny.

QUESTION: why replace the converter?there is a wiring problem.all wiring was disconnected from the trans and it still blow the fuse,thank you.

ok if U dont think u need that  then  why dont u check for a short to ground on that circuit. Buy a service manual and trace it down  once U have checked all the wires for a ground  then message me back with what U find out  and if U dont find a short I wont expect to hear back from u until the converter is replaced and there is no more issue.
