Chrysler Repair: 98 intrepid 2.7 liter, tone wheel, cam sensor

QUESTION: I have a 98 dodge intrepid.There is no sparks to the fuel injectors or coil pack. What could it possibly be?

ANSWER: a 2.7 engine does not have a coil pack  each cyl has its own coil.  so what is the prob with the car?

QUESTION: i seized my engine and its getting replaced by a place and the guy working on the car said there is no sparks to the fuel injector or coil pack. he cant find anything with the diagnostic thing. i guess cylinders 2 and four are working but thts it. he said he thinks its the computer itself. so he was gonna borrow one from a friend he knows who wont charge him for it unless he needs it but i havent heard back from him. im not sure wut the problem is but im just trying to give the guy some ideas to narrow down the problem.

ahh   I bet he used a different engine then a 98  and the tone wheel for the cam sensor is wrong. Tell him to unplug the cam sensor and start it up  it will run but U will get the check engine light for the cam being unplugged.
U should have given me all the info the first time.
