Hi Doug,
It may very well be that you don't have an egr. The cars of that year with the 3.3 didn't have one unless sold in California and so I believe the same may be true for your minivan.
If there is no pipe that branches off the rear bank's exhaust manifold and circles around to the intake manifold under the throttle body then you don't have one.
