Chrysler Repair: 01 Stuttering when cold, digit code number, temperature sensors

My 2001 Town and Country has recently started stuttering when cold.  The symptom is similar to what I would expect when water is in the gas.  Adding dry gas does not solve the problem.  Warming the engine and the problem goes away.  Total miles ~70K on it.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi Phil,
It more likely one of the engine temperature sensors. The quickest way to find the answer is with a fault code readout: use the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to change and show a 4-digit code number(s).
Then write back and tell me them and we'll go from there.
