QuestionRecently, my EVIC stopped displaying all together.
It briefly displayed Service Reminder ever so faintly, and has not returned.
The car has 75,800 original miles.
Is there a service required to reset?
I had an 86 Dodge that once it hit 70K the check engine light came on and had to be re-set.
As the EVIC on this New Yorker tells me many things, I am concerned about it not functioning.
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

AnswerHi AJ,
There is no reset for this unit. The only possibilities I can see are a less than 12V supply on pin 11, or a poor ground connection on pin 1. If you have illumination of anything that you are used to it would have to be those two connections or a failure of the internal cicuitry, possibly a capacitor started to leak. You could look inside to see if you notice anything like that.
