where is it located on 1998 caravan with 3.3 litre

Hi Jeff,
The crankshaft sensor is on the side of the power train that is closer to the firewall. It is at the joint between the engine and the transmission, adjacent to a triangular metal flange and just above the differential housing. It has orange/gray-black/black-light blue wires.
