QuestionQUESTION: Key wont turn...can get it to turn forward, but it will not start the car. Have read some of the other answers. Am getting ready to change out the cylinder and ignition switch, but have heard that this can be complicated....Is there anything easier I can try first?
** My dashboard lights started blinking and flickering when my battery got low from trying to get the car to start. It continues for about 30 seconds even when I take the key out of the cylinder.
I have put graphite in the lock..no luck.
Changed the starter relay...no luck
Battery is charged up.
When I try to start it...i hear a "click"..down near the box where the fuses are located.

QUESTION: The battery took a full charge and all my lights and accessories are working great.
It's a chrysler town and country 2000....when I turn the key...all my dash lights and radio will come on.....but when I turn it further to actually start it... I just get a a "click"
Also the key will not turn "back" to make the radio turn on anymore.
I know lots of people in the Atlanta area...I will tell them about you....Do you know anyone who does side work in Richmond, Va.
From what I told you, what's your best thought...?

Answerif u get a clunk when u try and turn it over its sounds like a starter. U might be looking at an IGN switch for when u turn it back all the way for the ACC stuff to work. if u have time right now call me and walk out to the van so i can hear it.
