Chrysler Repair: Problem with power door locks., chrysler sebring lxi, power door locks
QuestionI have read several people having the same problem but no answers on what is the problem and how it is fixed. I drive a 2001 Chrysler Sebring LXi sedan. The power door locks only work when they want to. I can push the lock button on the remote and it will not lock, and when i try on the inside lock switch, it still won't lock. I have to manually lock each door and it gets annoying. The remote and inside lock switch will unlock the doors though. What do you think the problem is? And how do you think it needs to be fixed? I will appreciate ANY help! Thanks!

Answerwhen talking about sebrings always hard to tell which one u have. What engine size do u have?
IF its a 2.0 2.4 or 2.7 u have a Chrysler product and the door locks are controlled by the BCM as well as the RKE functions. The BCM is behind the Fuse box on the driver side.
