Chrysler Repair: A/C wont work and A/C Head Unit indicates a 1-6 code, fan sensor, freon

I am having a problem with the A/C in my 1997 T&C 3.8L.  Freon level is fine and cooling occurs when the compressor is manual kicked on.  A/C head unit indicates 1-6 code when diagnostics are run.  Based on code the evaporator temp fan sensor has a short.  Where is it and how do I fix it.  Thanks,

I does not say  but i think u ca  get to it under the pass side  it will have 2 wire sticking out of the box and it will kinda screw off then u stick your hand back inside the evap area and pull it out of the evap and install the new one the same way   if u dont see any such thing   the dash will need to come out and split the housing and install it that way.I live in the Atlanta area I would be glad to look at it for u.
