Chrysler Repair: 1997 plymouth neon coolant temp sensor, coolant temperature sensor, engine coolant temperature

Hi my names Alex and i've got this performance module for my car and the directions for it say that it plugs into the coolant temp sensor.  When i unplugged the sensor i noticed that there were 3 wires.  the module is for two of them.  could you tell me what theses wires are.  thanks
