Chrysler Repair: chrysler lhs, 2000 chrysler lhs, chrysler lhs

Question
I have a 2000 Chrysler LHS and the speedometer just suddenly stopped working;also, the check engine light came on.  Would you know why this has happened??

depends on what the codes are  but I would guess that it would say output speed sensor error and something else like gear ratio error  if so  then replace both input and output sensors  if that is not what the codes are have to tell me and go from there.
