QuestionQUESTION: I recently changed the battery in my 2002 Chrysler Sebring. Now the alarm system(which I didn't know I had!) is going bananas. It goes off constantly, even during thunderstorms. Is there a way to disable it or limit its functions? Before the battery change, we just thought it was the regular "key fob" type system - open doors/trunk remotely and panic alarm. Now, we find it is a full-up alarm system that we can't control! The alarm doesn't quite function like the owners manual suggests. TIA
ANSWER: send me the last 8 of your vin I will run a function and see if it infact does have alarm or something is not working right and making it just go off like an alarm. PS does the car startup and run or not?

QUESTION: The car runs normally, but just get the alarm going off intermittently (and often!). Last 8: 2N245100
I would really like to get back to just having the keyless entry/panic button only. This has been an awful experience.
Thanks.
Answeralright u only have keyless no alarm Now u could be looking at a bad key fob if u press the red panic button at the bottom they will sound alarm and make the lights flash like an alarm. SO if u have a second key fob use that one for awhile and see if it goes away. On the other hand if thats not the case u would have an RKE issue BCM in that line .
