QuestionHi,
From one expert (I serve as an expert in plant diseases) to another, thanks for committing your time to this forum.
I need to replace a dash speaker on my 96 Concorde. How can I remove the dash to get to the speakers? Do I need special tools?
Thanks,
AnswerHi John,
No special tools, just a soft stick to pry gently with.
According to the manual:
Carefully pry up each end of the top cover to disengage the clips.
Lift rear edge of top cover with trim stick along the edge
While lifting the rear edge slide the entire top cover rearward to disengage front clip, thus allowing top cover removal
Side speakers are held in place by two screws, middle speaker is held in by plastic retainer. Each speaker has a connector. Remove speaker
Installation is reverse.
I hope this is helpful to you. And thanks for your volunteering also.
