2002  dodge caravan  4 cycilinder   how do you change plugs  they are down in valve covers  semerged in oil Dddo I have to change oil when doing this or what?

Answer
The puddle of oil around each plug just represents leakage. You might want to suck some of it up with a syringe just so you don't let too much oil drain into the compression chamber when you remove the plug. That is a precaution against a hydro lock, but it probably is not likely to happen if the amount of oil is not too extreme.
