QuestionGLAD TO SPEAK WITH YOU WIL..
I AM LUIS , AND I LIVE IN MEXICO , MY BIG QUESTION IS :
THAT I HAVE A CHRSLER LEBARON 1987 , L-4 , 2.2L MFI TURBO , AUTMOMATIC TRANSMISION.
IN 1 OCATION ONE MECHANIC CHANGE 1 VALVE OF THE HEAD . AFTER ! AH FEW MOUNTHS .
APAIR'S MUCH FAILURES WITH COMPANION OF SMOG , AND WHEN I START THE MACHINE , SHE GOINGS VERY FASTER AND MUCH ACELERATED .
OK , I PUT IT THE SCANERS TEST AND SHE REVEAL 2 CODES :
MODULE POWER , SENSOR OF VELOCITY OF THE TRASNSMISION .
I CHANGE FOR A NEW RECONTRUCTIVED MODULE POWER ( COMPUTER ) TPS , BUT UNFORTUNALY I NOT VIEW ANY PROGRESS.
MY BIG , BUT , BIG RESTLESSNESS IS , IF THE LAST WORK OF THE MECHANIC FORGET THE RECTIFICATION OF THE HEAD OR ANY ELSE ? .
BECAUSE REMEMBER , WIL ! MY LEBARON SHE START WORKING ..SUPER ACELERATED , AND SHE CANNOT STOP .
OR YOU THINK IS PROBLEM OF THE AIS SENSOR ? THIS POINT , I TAKE 0F THE HAYNES MANUAL .
CAN YOU EXPRES ME , YOUR IMPORTANT OPINION ? HOPE SO IS YES .
THANKS GOD FOR FOUND , AH , GREAT CHRSLER EXPERT !
THANKS FOR YOU , VERY MUCH ..
FOR YOUR SUPOURT.
BEST REGARDS SINCE MEXICO..

AnswerOn those old turbos it was very easy to brake the plastic vacuum lines that go along the back of the valve cover.A vacuum leak will make your idle a lot higher. That is the first place I would look.An ais motor could be a problem as well. There could be something stuck on the tip.Take it out and clean with some carb clean.
