Chrysler Repair: Steering column wont lock on 2000 voyager, key cylinder, steering column

Question
I can turn the vehicle off then take the keys out with no problem and still steer the wheel without it locking?

Answer
I can't quite remember the year they changed over but if you've got the most current body-style then steering lock was not a feature that was used on the most recent body that came out in 00 or 01.

If you've still got the older style like 96-99 then you may have an ignition key cylinder that is no longer engaging the lock feature right there at the top of the column.
