Chrysler Repair: Horn switch replacement 2001 Mini Van, static electricity, mini van

Question
Is there a sequence to replacing the horn switch on
2001 Town & Country because of the air bag.

Answer
Disconnect airbag, wait 3-5 minutes, remove airbag, remove cover and swap out the horn pad.

Try not to slide in and out of the seat too much which may cause static electricity to build up.  Also, lay the airbag with the connector side down in the event of deployment this will prevent the airbag from exploding against the floor.
