Chrysler Repair: car seat warmer, chrysler seebring, ebay
QuestionI have a 2001 chrysler seebring. Neither of the seats get warm. I can feel the relays closing, and can feel the coils closing. My queston. Is the a seprate fuse for the heating elements in the seats? I purchased a repair book for the car, but it does not cover the car seat heaters.
I will appreciate any help,A wireing dirigram on the set heaters would be most appreciated.
Thank you george.
AnswerHi George,
I am sorry to say that I don't have a Sebring shop manual that is recent enough to include the heated seats. I am not sure what year those were introduced. I would suggest that you might want to acquire an official Chrysler shop manual for your car. They are available new for in the range of $75 from Dyment Publications at 1-800-890-4038. In my experience these are the most complete and cover all the wiring systems. You might also find a used copy by searching on eBay for a few weeks until one comes up for auction. In the meantime I would look under the hood in the power distribution center near the battery for a fuse labelled for the seats and also look in the junction block under the dash in the driver's side for a similarly labelled fuse. No doubt there is one, but the trick is to find it.
