Chrysler Repair: 2.4L timing assembly, hydraulic tensioner, ebay
QuestionHello,
I know enough to get myself in trouble.
I have taken apart the assembly of the timing system to replace parts and to replace the water pump. I've replaced the water pump. However, I bought a new hydraulic tensioner and pulley, but cannot remember how to assemble them back together. Can you help me out? 1996 Sebring Convetible
Thanks!
AnswerHi Debra,
I'm sorry to say that I don't have any manuals for the post-'95 years. May I recommend that you buy a set of Chrysler shop manuals for your '96 Sebring? I have them for my '89, and have added others that I bought on eBay (search for "1996 Chrysler Manual"). You can buy them new, usually in a set of 3 manuals, from Chrysler by calling 1-800-890-4038 for availability and cost (usually around $60 plus $10 for shipping from Ohio). If you are going to keep your car and work on it yourself this is a good source for solving all your repair problems.
