Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1972 Dodge Dart Speedometer/Gas, fuel guage, speedometer/odometer

Hello..
1. My Speedometer and odometer doesnt move at all.
2. Lights in cluster does not work
3. Gas line does move a lil bit once started but not working properly.

Can you help please with fixing this issue.

Hello Marco,

Darts are great cars but old Darts get problems like everything else. There are multiple reasons why the various gauges don't work. I'll just id the most common problems to get you started. It's possible they're all related but from my MOPAR experience, here's what's most likely:

Speedo/Odometer: Part of the same system--likely a broken cable from the gauge to the transmission.

Light cluster doesn't work: Check bad light switch, fuses and bulbs in that order

Fuel gauge: Check ground for gauge, fuel sender in the tank and gauge in that order.
