QuestionWe were given a 1981 Spider FIAT that was running well but we have not "run" it in several years...It has about 70,000 we would like to sell it but do not know how much to ask for a car that doesn't run...or would it be worth it to restore and then sell?
AnswerHi Meg:
Although, not quite a collector's item, it is
still a classic. Since it does needs work, any
price from $3,500 to $5,000 is a good price and
that depends on how much work is required to restore it.
In excellent (restored) condition, you could get as much as $10,000 to
$12,000 for it.
