Classic/Antique Car Repair: Spark Plug Gap Model A Ford, gap model, plug gap

What is the correct gap for the spark plug on a 1931 Model A Ford - 4 cylender, two seater with rumble seat.

Answer
The book says 0.035 in., but a lot of run around 0.040.  Some think this makes it idle better.
You better get yourself the model A ford mechanic's handbook.  About $35 from MARC or any of the parts suppliers.  It is by les andrews and it is a great book we all have.  Be sure to get the red one.
