Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1928 Model A Ford, good luck jack, point gap
QuestionWhat should the point gap be on a 1928 Model A Ford?
AnswerI think the book says .017 in., but we all set them to a tight .020 in. Get a test light and set them using that. I mean set the timing using the light. Get the Les Andrews book, "Model A Mechanics handbook". It is a great book and it will tell you how to do everything on that car. We all have them. You can get them through MARC or most suppliers.
Good luck.
